This came about on seeing the title of this English title of a Chinese song playing on my computer music player, “Deep Thoughts In the Bamboo Grove”, which I took to mean in Chinese as “竹林靜思”
風別竹葉翠, The wind had left the green bamboo leaves,
靜思無杯醉. Deep in thoughts, nary a cup of wine needed.
魂夢世外間, My soul dreams of realms beyond this mortal world,
逍遥何憂慮. Carefree and nary a worry be.
